How many sets or reps of crunches per day should I do?? To get WASH BOARD abs for the ladies this summer????

my body fat is at a very low low % first time in a long time.thats how i know i’m going to have abs this summer..

Nobody can tell you exactly how many a day to do. It depends on your level of fitness already. The only way to get wash board abs is to rid fat and lower your body fat %. If you have a belly at all, it’s gonna take some cardio along with crunches to achieve the desired affect. You also need to be eating right. If you already have a flat stomach (just not riped), then it probably won’t take much work. As far as how many sets ans reps…..When you do crunches at home without weight resistance, you have to do the crunches until you feel "the burn" then you need to do an additional 10-15 reps after that. It’s after you feel the burn that you are getting the most affect. The reps is for you to figure out based on your fitness level. For sets I’d say do 2-3 sets a day. There’s no magic formula, but what more importantly is that you need to have a low body fat % for them to appear. This can be achieved through a clean diet, cardio and weight training.

People who chew gum don’t get a skinny face, do they?
Same thing with your abs, doing abs exercises will not give you a six pack.
Do some abs exercises only in addition to a full body routine.
